Evening at the Canyon

Late that day, we stopped by another side of the Canyon... and came upon this structure built to honor the towers constructed by many Native Americans.  It was practically my favorite part of the visit!

 

Oh, and we also saw A LOT of elk around the Canyon rim, foraging in the brushy areas.  Too cool!

 

I am telling my moms about all the Native American symbols...  It was kind of a sacred place!
