New Toy!

My eyes got so big at Babies R Us when Moms showed this to me - I just had to have it! I love to be able to manipulate toys lately, so the buttons to push and the spinning dials and other gadgets are just perfect. Plus, the motif is 'At the Pond,' so there are plenty of dragonflies and frogs~~~

Beautiful Amish Girl?

This purple and green pastel outfit was one of many gifts I've received from my grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles and friends. With the little headband, I'm all set for a sweet & fabulous day, don't you think?

Blustery Days

Finally, some cooler weather here in the mountains! When I'm bundled in the leather Aunt Beth gave me... Moms say I look like a little bear cub.

We take walks around the homestead, and play chase & fetch with the doggies... I like to touch the trees and watch the river. Mom points out the sounds of the wind and the birds to me, and we look up at the sky.

I now like to giggle when something strikes me,

like when I'm tickled under my chin,

when Moms do a funny dance or make goofy noises,

or when my doggie Delilah is nearby.

...They say I sleep a lot like Mamma Marianne,

with my hands up over my head!

Playtime

I may not really be teething yet... but these days the World is My Lollipop. And teething beads are great - I love being able to hold them myself.

Storytime is another favorite part of my day. Here I am, reading Frederick Frog and Amelia Giraffe the Nite-Nite story.

Quilt from Aunt Carol!

Thank you, Tante Carol, for this beautiful handmade quilt. My moms said you've worked on it since August... and it's in the perfect colors for my nursery! I love the tabs on the pinwheel designs - fun for my ongoing investigations. (By the way, the yellow ones taste best...)

Opening presents! Thanks Everyone!

I got some new toys, super outfits, (fun, crunchy wrapping paper...) my own baby album from Aunts Linda and Cheryl, exciting books with music cd's, a little locket to match Mamma Marianne's for when I get bigger... and the most beautiful hand-sewn quilt from Aunt Carol!

We had a bit of snow flurries but mostly just a grey, cozy day together. And of course Moms say their very best present ever was ME!

Hey, did you know I have cousins?! In fact, I have six altogether (so far...) but at Christmastime I got to meet three: Lauren, Justin and Sarah. I can tell already they have lots of fun stuff to teach me!

Well I talked my moms into getting this for me before Christmas... I just really wanted something new to play with!

It's really fun - an aquarium motif with a hanging puffer fish and turtle... and all kinds of other neat stuff. I really like the colors and the music.
