New mobile

Wow! Grandma & Grandpa Puechl got me a new mobile - it has several different musical settings, including nature sounds... and best of all, there's a light show!

Bunny Slippers

Aunt Carol came to visit! She brought loads of presents, including this beautiful ensemble --- plus the bunny slippers!

Four and a half weeks

At four and a half weeks... I am 10 and a quarter lbs and still the same length as I was at birth (21 inches.) I like to drink about 3 to 3 1/2 ounces of formula every 2-4 hours.

Just a week or so after birth, I began making lots of creaking, squeaking and groaning noises. Now I'm having fun with what seems more like 'pre-cooing' sounds, and I like to practice stringing them together. Sometimes in the middle of the night I'll lay in my crib and Moms will giggle at me while I chatter.

Just this week I began to find my thumb! For quite awhile now I have sucked at my fist, or the first knuckle of my pointer finger... but just recently I've learned how to extend my thumb a little and get it into my mouth. It's perfect when it works! and I even prefer it oftentimes to my pacifier. I'm a Big Girl!

Pink Girl, app. four weeks

~Pretty in Pink~

Cora's glad we're home... She likes sleeping on the suitcase!
Moms have lots to do to get my room ready...
but it's getting closer every day.
Can't wait to show you my new furniture!

Nascar with Mom

Back Home!
We got our clearance to head back to North Carolina
on Thursday, October 12th.
We arrived on Friday evening and on Saturday
I got to watch my very first NASCAR race with
Mamma Cindy!

Time spent in Philadelphia, including my first touristing trip! My moms love Independence Hall and I really liked looking up at all the leaves on the tall trees. Even Duncan got to walk in the historic park there! ...Our hotel wasn't so bad... it had a kitchenette and we made do for a few days... Then we got clearance to head back home to North Carolina!

Working Hard

Proofing the Magazine for Mom... And pounding the pavement in Philly with Issue 2! I truly love my Snuggly - again, the motion soothes me and I love being closely held.

Conducting my First Symphony

I love to squirm, rock and curl in my special Amish cradle. Tantes Linda and Cheryl let me borrow it and fixed it up for me, so I could be right next to Mom all night long. Rockabye! ....And we were all up on the third floor, Duncan included. He loves to look out the window and bark at the people down on the sidewalk.

The Fan Club

Aunt Linda and Lisa declared themselves 'Co-Presidents of the Kestin Fan Club!'
Aren't they adorable??

Aunt Linda and Aunt Cheryl invited us to make ourselves at home at their house in Brookline for weeks and weeks around the time I was born! It will always have a special place in the hearts of my moms and me as the very first spot we got to be together as a family.

Thanks Tantes Linda and Cheryl!

Well, the car seat isn't my favorite...
I get strapped in REALLY snug!
...but the ride is fun - I like the motion~~~

First Doctor Visit!
At one week old, I was back to the clinic to let the doctors poke and prod me once more... They said I am doing really well and have perfect health!
