In Ms Anna's Class

This is my third year now in Ms Anna's class at Montessori School! I love it! My moms just visited for my birthday celebration, so I was excited to show some of my work to them. I am starting to do some great addition work, and of course always enjoy learning about animals, the earth and other cultures. Stretching at circle-time and eating lunch with friends are also some of the daily highlights.

Nearly Five Years Old

These days I love talking about how I'm getting to be a Big Kid! Mommy just let me start trying gum... At school (3 days/week) I get to take my lunch now and eat with my friends... I am learning how to write my numbers and do addition problems... I am starting to do more regular chores around the house like making my bed, flossing my teeth, brushing my hair by myself (which is all great fun for me)... and in dance class we just started learning how to leap like big-girl ballerinas! WHAT FUN! I love growing & getting to do new things. Lately I often ask my moms, "What else do big kids do??" just hoping they'll let me explore something else I've never done before!

Next day, new Lighthouse!

Mamma made sure we made our way the next day to the lighthouse on Hatteras, and that we'd have plenty of time to explore and climb up. A great adventure!

Kestin really wanted to climb this exciting lighthouse... but just as we arrived the ranger closed the door! -One disappointed Little Girl!!
