Meeting a Penguin

Did you know that a penguin has the softest feathers EVER???  I got to meet and pet Noel, at the Gatlinburg Aquarium, and I was surprised that she's softer than my puppy's fur, or even our rabbits' fur!

I learned a lot about her and had a fun time getting up close.  Nice to meet ya, Noel!!

Oh geez, again??!

Well back in February I fractured the growth plate in my foot.

Now, I've fractured the growth plate in my wrist.  RATS!!!  I am really bummed because it's happened during the summer.  The doctor told me not to body surf in the ocean when the waves are really rough. (and our beach trip is in two weeks)  UGGH!  Disappointed!

Who'd have thought I'd get two fractures when I was ten? 
The year of living dangerously!!

PS - other than this, I've had a pretty good summer so far...  We visited G-Ma and Paul Paul in GA and I got to go to a cool museum, Stone Mountain and swim in their pool.  We went gem mining with Aunt Linda when she visited.  We went to the aquarium last week and I got to personally meet and pet a penguin!  We went berry picking two weekends ago and Mom her famous mtn berry pie...  I started my youtube channel and have had a blast making videos almost every day...  Me and Mom put our inflatable canoe upriver and floated down to our front yard, which took two hours...  And later this summer we'll see the solar eclipse and goto the beach on the Outer Banks, and tour the Lost Colony!  Coolio!
