Family Portrait

Happy Holidays, Everyone!!

Botanical Gardens

We also spent time at the Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh.  So pretty!  I took lots of photos again...
Plus, Thea and I got to visit with Santa and I got to hang out with Rob.  What a great day!

Me, taking some shots...

And some of the pics below are ones I took; others are ones my Mom took.  Her camera, after all!

They set this scene up with a toy train and village and pirate ship and stuff, with various plants and flowers as the backdrop for it all.  Very creative, I thought!

Aunt Linda running down the walkway with Aunt Carol, who thought the ride was kinda fun!

Photographing the City

Mamma and I like to share special time together taking photographs.  We walked through downtown Pittsburgh one afternoon, and even took the incline.  Okay, yeah, it gave me the heebie jeebies!  I don't like heights!!!

But, yet again, I had to hear the story about how my parents rode the incline and went out to dinner the night they got the call I was going to be born.  So, that made the ride kind of fun.  Not.

Behind us, at the park on the Point, is where my Mom first met my birthmom when she was six months' pregnant with me.  Mom LOVES to tell that story.  She wore her dragonfly hat and her dragonfly shirt - meant to be, she says!

My incline face...

Truly, my incline face...

Some Nostalgia...

When I was a newborn, I stayed on the third floor of Aunt Linda's house in Pittsburgh for 2 weeks, while we waited for paperwork to go through. (then we ventured to Philadelphia for several days, while we continued to wait on interstate paperwork...)  Now, here's my baby sister, in the same room, eleven years later.  How cool is that??

And you know, when you're in Pittsburgh, you've gotta walk the hills and the cobblestones.  It's just soooo Pittsburgh!!  -I do think it's weird, how close together people's houses are here..

Here are some neat pics I took of Aunt Linda and Cheryl's dog, Shadow...

And of course we had to eat at Aunt Linda and Cheryl's favorite local restaurant.  It's where they got married.  And the restaurant owner is awesome - he speaks in Italian to me!

It's true, there's a lot of Girl Power in my fam!!

Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh

It's always fun to visit with my clan in Pittsburgh!  They're my peeps, they get me!  Pokémon, pokemon, pokemon!!

And here I am with my cousins...

And here's Grandma BG meeting Thea.  It was actually BG's birthday on Thanksgiving.  Happy Birthday, BG!!

Getting Good Grades

I feel proud about getting straight A's :)  I guess it's because I like to prove to myself that I can do my best.  And I do like my new school this year - the work is more challenging and fun for me.  Here we are, celebrating at my class's awards ceremony for the first quarter's A-B Honor Roll.  I gotta admit, I kind of liked showing off my baby sister!
