Portraits...

In May, got to go on a business trip with Mamma all the way to Wisconsin!  We stopped in Chicago for a few hours and had some fun....

These days I don't often let my moms take my photo, so this -Mamma said- was a treat!

Field Day, 3rd Grade

Great time with lots of different sports activities!  I love playing and competing with my friends :)

Sleepover!

Had an awesome (and super busy!) sleepover with one of my very BFF's, Gracie!

We love rafting together and playing in the river!

 

Aunt Carol was visiting that weekend so we all had a picnic dinner:  plus a campfire so we could roast marshmallows for dessert!

...Yup, had to make a fairy house!  Actually, it was more like a fairy village!

The night just keeps going!!...  Mom asked if we'd like to do a science experiment; I wasn't too keen on the idea but Gracie was all for it.  It was super cool to see how different liquids glow with an ultraviolet light!

Totally slept soundly that night!

Flurry the Duck

One of our ducks, Flurry, was hatched by a small bantam chicken mamma.  So, he imprinted on her and now he really chases after our hens... and they are a lot smaller than he is!  To avoid them getting hurt, Flurry is allowed out only so many hours during the late afternoon.

So, for a change, we put him on our rabbit leash to see if he'd like some time out in the river with me...  Pretty fun!

Easter 2016

Our local community center held their annual Easter egg hunt...  It was fun to go this year with my friend Caroline and her sister!

Back at home, time to color eggs!

This year Mom and I tried transferring dye from silk ties on to eggs...  For a first try, we thought we did pretty well!
