I'm a lucky girl! My mammas got me a new pool to play in at home. I still don't know how to hold my breath, but I'm getting close.

Not Saying Cheese

Lately, Mommy prompts me a lot with the camera. But I am 2 and 3/4 now... and that means sometimes I don't like to smile as much for my picture. I'm getting to be much too independent, of course, and have my own timeframe for things like that!

...So, you might notice that lots of my latest pictures are 'cheeseless.' I've refused to say the word on cue. -It's not because I'm unhappy or stubborn, it's just that I'm busy doing something else at that moment.

This is another example of Mommy Marianne's recent photographic masterpieces: I have already left the shot. Being 2 and 3/4, I am FAST.

'Fast, Faster, Faster!' I like to say. And I twirl away in a flash!

In May, we went to a local carnival (set up in the Asheville Mall parking lot.) ...Not too fancy, but it was still lots of fun. In fact, I played the Duck Game and won my very own prize! I chose an inflatable froggie to go in my wading pool back at home. What a great way to have fun on a Tuesday night!

This mini-roller coaster was actually kinda zippy! It was the fastest ride I've ever been on; I definitely had a serious face and held on real tight. Whew!

YES!! It finally stopped raining for a day or so in Asheville, and I decided it was time to ponder mischief...

Here I am, at my water table, looking inconspicuous enough...

And VOILA! Mud puddles!

(Mom couldn't believe that the ground had finally dried a bit, and this was my choice activity. Hrumph!)
